Liberty Korea Post has learned through its sources inside North Korea that [North] Korea Workers Party (KWP) has produced a new documentary for the party cadres. The KWP has been showing the documentary entitled "The Great Legacy" every Saturday since early January. It features the accomplishments by Kim Jong-il and Kim Jong-un, along with a message that "we can never give up the nuclear arms."
Produced after Kim Jong-il died, the documentary consists of a series of historical events such as the founding of DPRK and KWP, Juche ideology and youth projects, development of the nation and the revolution, and the wide array of accomplishments by suryongs (great leaders).
In the section containing "Completion of National Nuclear Weaponry," the documentary depicts the process of attaining the nuclear weapons and ICBM, along with details of the "Plans for the 3-day War" by the strategic forces. According to the sources, this segment was completed toward the end of 2017 and was shown to KPA (Korean People's Army) officers to the level of battalion commanders. The KWP is now showing the documentary to the cadres of the Provinces.
It is interesting that the documentary was being shown about the same time Kim Jong-un made his New Year's address about "denuclearization."
The source added that "there had been doubts whether Kim Jong-un could give up the nukes. This documentary clearly shows his intent to convince the cadres that he would never give up the nukes and missiles."
